Arrogant strength so strong – so proud.

I speak in whispers. Not out loud.

I climb into those youthful bones.

Ignoring your beleaguered moans.

Seeping into that innocent mind.

I look for clefts. A crack to find.

Slithering in… I administer pain.

Slowly at first. Then with disdain.

Master strength you lose, old friend.

Weakness prevails -at the end.

Not even strength can last forever.

That mortal coil… I tend to sever.

Surrender now. I come in peace.

Rest awhile – it’s sweet release.

Strength, my love – you reign no more.

Take your dignity. You know the door.
